This Sunday we will celebrate All-Saints Day. November 1 is the official day. Who are the saints in your life? I don’t mean — who are the perfect people in your life? I mean who have been the ones to influence you for good? You know what they say — “Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future.”

This Sunday we will have a special table set up to remember those who have died. The ones who impacted our lives. Bring a picture or something that reminds you of a family member or friend who is no longer with you in this life. We will sing, and pray, and share the bread and cup of communion as we give thanks for those who have left us a legacy. As we sing in the great hymn of All-Saints Day — “We feebly struggle, they in glory shine — yet all are one in Thee and all are Thine. Alleluia!”

See you in worship.

Tomorrow, Friday, November 3, we will celebrate the life of Ferne Mammen. The service will be held at 1:30pm with a reception following in the Red Room.
