The Neighborhood

News and Notes

With the holidays arriving, many of us wonder what we’ll be doing.  At the Neighborhood Services Center, we know: we’ll be feeding lots of people, handing out personal hygiene kits, sorting and delivering mail for 120-plus folks, providing a safe place for people to be, sorting clothes, supervising computer use, making good use of the art room for a quiet place away from hustle and bustle, and on and on.

Our mission doesn’t stop, it’s never completed, and all are needed.  Meanwhile, people say their thanks, give us their blessings for what we do, and tell us of the difference we have made in their lives.

May you, too, be aware of the difference you make in the lives of others.

In faith, Sharon Forrest
